This EULA is a legal agreement between you (“Licensee”) and Altechmind Technologies (OPC) Private Limited (“Altechmind”) for the software product you purchase or download from store.altechmind.com (the “Software”). By installing, activating or using the Software, you accept this EULA.
1. Licence grant
Subject to payment and compliance with this EULA, Altechmind grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on the number of sites/activations stated for your licence, for your own use or that of your client for whom you deploy it.
2. Activation and validation
The Software may contact Altechmind’s licensing service to activate, validate and check for updates using your licence key. This binds the licence to your site(s) and enforces the activation limit. The data sent for this purpose is described on the product page (“Activation & Data”) and in our Privacy Policy — it is limited to your licence key, the product identifier, your site URL, a timestamp and a one-time nonce (and optionally the Software version/environment). You consent to this communication.
3. Updates and support
Your licence includes updates and support for the updates window shown at purchase. After it ends, the Software’s existing features continue to function, but new updates and support require renewal.
4. Restrictions
You may not: (a) redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent or share the Software or licence keys except as expressly permitted; (b) remove or alter copyright/licence notices; (c) circumvent activation, validation or usage limits; or (d) use the Software to build a competing product.
5. Open-source components
Where the Software runs on a platform (e.g., WordPress or OJS/PKP) or includes components under an open-source licence (such as GPL), those components remain governed by their respective licences. Nothing here limits rights you have under those licences.
6. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. Altechmind and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Software.
7. Termination
This licence terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and remove the Software. Sections that by nature survive (ownership, restrictions, liability) continue.
8. Disclaimer & liability
The Software is provided “as is” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Altechmind’s liability is limited as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
9. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction at Kolkata, West Bengal, as stated in our Terms & Conditions.
